For 7 days in June 2014, I will be with over 2,500 other people on a 545-mile landmark bike ride traveling from San Francisco to Los Angeles!
To prepare for this life-changing experience, I could really use your help. Aside from the training I am doing in accepting this challenge, I have made a commitment to raise $10,000 to support the San Francisco AIDS Foundation in its mission to prevent new HIV infections and promote the health of all people.
Even though I am not HIV positive, I am affected by this disease. We all are. Like me, you have friends or family living with HIV, whether you know it or not. Thousands of individuals from all walks of life benefit from the foundation's programs and services, locally and globally. They make a world of difference in the lives of people infected with or at risk of contracting HIV -- with services that include prevention, testing, and treatment.
